The close-up view of the world’s highest snow-capped peaks Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam and many more makes the journey more thrilling. This is also an opportunity to experience the intensive lifestyle of the Sherpa community surrounded by fluttering prayer flags and glistening peaks. This itinerary has been designed keeping in mind for the one who comes with limited days of vacation but has keen interest to experience the mighty Everest. The main mission of this trek is to introduce the Sherpa culture and lifestyle along with fine mountain views. If you are the novice trekker, then this will be a perfect choice.
Everest Panorama Trek begins after a 30min scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla leads you all the half way to EBC. The route follows Dudh Koshi valley and reaches to Namche Bazaar passing by Phakding and Manjo. The acclimatization and exploration day allow you to hike around and visit the National park museum. The hike further up to famous Tengboche monastery gives a chance of witnessing Tibetan Buddhism and its vastness. Tengboche is rewarded with the 360* views snow-covered mountains like Everest, Lhotse, Kangtega, Tawache and Ama Dablam. Next, the trek resumes towards Khumjung and Khunde, the green hidden villages in the mountain valley. We also explore Kunde hospital and Khumjung School, which are supported by the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation. A glance of Yeti scalp inside the Khumjung monastery will add more fun on the journey.
