Trip Overview

Nepal- a roof of the world situated in Southern Asia in touch with the Himalayas. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. The official language spoken is Nepali. 

The country consists 8 of the world's 10 highest peaks which includes world highest mountain Mount Everest. A country is full of snow-capped mountain peaks having more than 90 peaks, which lie above 7000m. And is also the second richest country in water resources. 

Nepal is also the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, who is the founder of Buddism. Nepal has 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites, which includes Temples, Stupas, National Park and Durbars. Nepal consists of many Holy Places not only of Buddist variety also has millions of Hindus temples scattered across the country. The mountain encircled city Kathmandu is also rich in the old monuments and architectures. A city, full of cultural and historical places with modern facilities.

Travelling to the Jungles of Chitwan National Park, a settlement of Bengal Tigers, Crocodile, One-Horned Rhinos and unique bird species. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel

A company representative will receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You can rest and relax at the hotel and, later, stroll around the nearby areas. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Nepalese cuisine. If your flight arrives late, the meeting and dinner can be scheduled for the next day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's heritage sites, including Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You'll also visit the Kumari Ghar, home of the Virgin Goddess, and have a briefing about your trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Chitwan

After breakfast, travel to Chitwan by private vehicle (about 4-5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and receive a briefing on nature programs. Enjoy a village walk and sunset views. In the evening, have dinner with a cultural program. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 04: Jungle Excursion at Chitwan

In the morning, take a canoe ride on the Rapti River to observe aquatic birds and possibly the endangered Gharial crocodile. Later, visit the Elephant Breeding Camp and, optionally, take a jungle walk (3 hours) or an elephant-back safari to explore the park's flora and fauna. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 05: Drive to Lumbini

After bird watching along the Rapti River, drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit the Maya Devi temple, Ashoka pillar, ancient stupas, and international temples built by countries like China, Myanmar, Japan, and Sri Lanka. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 06: Drive to Tansen

After breakfast, head to Tansen, a hill station offering stunning views of the Himalayas. After checking in at your hotel, explore this charming town. Overnight in Tansen.

Day 07: Drive to Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara through the scenic countryside, and after checking in at your hotel, enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding areas. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 08: Sunrise & Sightseeing tour

Early morning, drive to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas. Afterward, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara, visiting sites like Davi’s Falls, Guptashor Cave, Seti Gorge, and Peace Stupa. In the evening, explore the lakeside areas. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 09: Drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus

Drive to Phedi and begin the trek to Dhampus. Enjoy spectacular views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna massif. Overnight at a lodge in Dhampus.

Day 10: Trek to Ghandruk

Trek to Ghandruk, a famous trekking destination known for its beautiful mountain views and the Gurung people’s unique culture. Visit the Gurung museum and overnight at a lodge in Ghandruk.

Day 11: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

Trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Sightseeing tour in Patan, Bhaktapur, and Dhulikhel

After breakfast, visit Patan, known for its historic Durbar Square and the Krishna Temple. Then, head to Bhaktapur to explore its palaces, temples, and the Nyatapole temple. Afterward, drive to Dhulikhel, a hill station near Kathmandu with stunning Himalayan views. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 14: Visit Dhulikhel, Panauti village, and Changunarayan

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Then visit Dhulikhel, Panauti village (known for its Newari culture), and Changunarayan, one of the oldest temples in the Kathmandu Valley. Return to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Mountain flight and visit Dakshinkali and Chovar

In the morning, take a mountain flight for incredible views of the Himalayas. Afterward, visit Dakshinkali, a popular Hindu temple, and stop at Chovar Gorge. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Final Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you can shop for souvenirs or relax before being transferred to the airport for your departure.

Equipments

  • Wind and Waterproof Jacket & Pants
  • Comfortable and sturdy walking shoes (worn frequently prior to departure)
  • Socks: thick wool blend and thin cotton to be worn in combination - ensure boots fit such combination

  • Wool jumper/sweater/fleece. Lightweight during summer, 1 heavyweight or 2 lightweights during winter months.
