Trip Overview

Pokhara is known as a Lake City, located in central Nepal. It’s also a gateway to the Annapurna Region, with many popular trails in the Himalayas. ‘Fewa Lake’, one of the beautiful lake in Nepal is just located in the heart of the city, which offers a magnificent reflection of Mt. Fishtail. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside area has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas.

The second attraction of this Deluxe Pokhara Dhampus Tour is Dhampus Village, which is located at northwest from Kathmandu and north from the Pokhara. With the gorgeous views of golden rice terraces, Dhampus village also has a stunning view of landscape Mountain Range. The sunset at the Mountains in the evening treasures for long. A short Tour to the Dhampus gives an opportunity to meet the ethnic Gurung People at Gurung village.

The Deluxe Pokhara Dhampus Tour starts from Kathmandu with a scenic drive via Trisuli River Valley to Pokhara. You will spend an overnight in one of the city’s Luxury hotel then next day move to Dhampus Village after the day tour around in Pokhara for 2nd overnight.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a company representative, who will drop you off at our hotel. After checking in, take a rest or visit Amazing Nepal's office. You may also stroll in the streets of Thamel, a tourist hub in Kathmandu for some souvenir shopping. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Amazing Nepal Trek & Expedition. For dinner, you will be served excellent Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country's authentic food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu-Pokhara by private transport (200km, 5/6hrs drive)

Day 03: Pokhara tour and drive to Dhampus Village

After breakfast, your day tour exceeds exploring Davi’s waterfall, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, Tibetan refugee camp, historical museum and international mountaineering museum. Once you complete a sightseeing tour, you will return back to your hotel in Pokhara to collect your belongings and resume your drive via river valley to beautiful Gurung settlement Dhampus Village. Overnight in Dhampus Village.

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu

Early morning, you will take a Sunrise view trip guided by our experienced and qualified guide. Return to hotel for breakfast then, drive back to Kathmandu through the upstream of Trishuli River with terraced field and hamlets. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 05: Final Departure

A representative from Amazing Nepal Trek will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight for your final departure.
