Luxury Everest Panorama Trek begins with a day tour of UNESCO heritage sits in Kathmandu. But the real adventure journey starts after a 30min scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and leads you all the half way to EBC route. The route follows Dudh Koshi valley and reaches to Namche Bazaar passing by Phakding and Manjo. A free afternoon at Namche Bazaar allows you to hike around and visit the National park museum. The hike further up to famous Tengboche monastery gives a chance of witnessing Tibetan Buddhism and its vastness. Tengboche is rewarded with the 360* views snow-covered mountains like Everest, Lhotse, Kangtega, Tawache and Ama Dablam. Next, the trek resumes towards Khumjung and Khunde, the green hidden villages in the mountain valley. We also explore Kunde hospital and Khumjung School, which are supported by the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation. A glance of Yeti scalp inside the Khumjung monastery will add more fun on the journey. Hiking to Thame keeps you away from the crowd of travelers in Everest region. Two days easy downhill walk will bring you back to Lukla to catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Our representative will be there at the Tribhuvan International Airport to receive you and take you to the hotel in Kathmandu. The same evening, you and your team members will be offered typical Nepali food in a fine restaurant. You will also be briefed about the trip, and dropped at your hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley and Preparation for Trekking (1,300 m/4,264ft)

After breakfast, you will set out for sightseeing of the culturally and architecturally rich heritage sites of the Valley. Places such as the Pashupatinath, the world famous temple precinct of the Hindus, the Boudhnath and Swaymbhunath, the world famous Buddhist stupa precinct, and Kathmandu Durbar Square will open up completely a new cultural world of Nepali art and architecture to you. You will also be taken to the Kumari Ghar, where resides the Virgin Goddess. We will also discuss the trip, and you will be introduced to your fellow trekkers and our crews.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) & trek to Monjo (2850m/9348ft), 4-5hrs

You will fly from Kathmandu domestic airport to Lukla in the early morning. It is just a 30-minutes-long flight. Once you land at Lukla airport, you will find yourself busy with taking photos. Our crews will start taking care of the luggage. Usually, trekkers take their lunch at Lukla. After things are properly set by the midafternoon, you will begin your trek up to Monjo. This is a short route. At Monjo, a small and quiet village, you can enjoy an evening walk.

Day 04: Monjo to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), 5-6hrs.

As soon as your breakfast at Phakding, you will find yourself walking along the banks of Dudh Koshi till you arrive at Monjo, another small and quiet village. This village is a gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park. As you walk through the National Park, you start gradually descending to the banks of Bhote Koshi River till you arrive at Jorsalle village. After a short break, you will be walking towards Namche Bazaar, a globally known small town, where tourists from around the world flock in. It is here you pass your night at a comfortable Lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Tashinga (3450m/11316ft), 2-3hrs

After breakfast at the hotel, we start our trek further 2 hrs walking gently with a scenic view of the surrounding mountain including Mt. Everest and finally check in to our lodge in Tashinga where we'll stay tonight.

Day 06: Day excursion to Tengboche (3,867m/12684ft), 4-5hrs

The day begins with a descent to the small hamlet of Phunki Tenga, beside the Dudh Kosi. From here we cross a suspension bridge before beginning a steep ascent for about an hour. This part of the trek is quite heavily forested by rhododendron and pine, so it is well shaded and cool. Once out of the forest, the trail becomes gentle and gradual for another 1.5 hours, all the way up to the monastery. The setting of Thyangboche is magical and it is incredible to think that the temple was burned down a few years ago and re-built largely through the efforts of the Sir Edmund Hillary Trust. After lunch and explorations of the monastery and its surroundings, return to Tashinga for your overnight stay.

Day 07: Trek to Mende(3,700m /12136ft), 5-6hrs

After breakfast, your day begins to trek uphill to the hidden valley called Khumjung village, probably the biggest village of the areas and visit Hillary school established by Late Sir Edmond Hillary and visit Monastery with Yeti skull. You may have a chance to meet many famous climbers in Khumjung & Khunde valley where is a big hospital running by the charity. We head further to Village of Mende where we stay overnight and rest of the time enjoys exploring surrounding areas.

Day 08: Day excursion to Thame (3820m/12,530ft), 4-5hrs

Today we visit Thame village, the sight of the Mani Rimdu ceremony each autumn. This valley drains the Nanga La, the pass crossing into Tibet which has been the traditional trading route between these two countries for centuries. This place locates with a great view and most of the famous climbers from this village. This village called the village of Snow Leopard and on our return to Mende, we take time to explore the small but impressive Karag Monastery near Thamo, one of the highlights on the route.

Day 09: Trek to Phakding (2610m/8561ft), 4-5 hrs walk

This morning after a great Himalayan experience at Mende we descending to Namche is an easy day of rolling hills and switchbacks as we cruise back down to the trading center of the Khumbu. After Lunch at Namche, we retract back to Phakding for the overnight.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft), 3-4hrs 

From Phakding we trek back to the Lukla village. After your arrival at Lukla, you have time to stroll around the areas and guide will re-confirm your flight ticket and enjoy the last celebrate dinner with your crew member and overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

After an early morning flight to Kathmandu, our guide transfer you to your hotel. You may have time to relax after a long journey and take back your breath and rest at your hotel with ending your Himalayan trip with us.

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu

Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

Accommodations

Amazing Nepal will provide you Apsara Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu and comfort lodges during the trek. Our main goal is our safety and satisfaction. Therefore, we never compromise on health and happiness. Most of the accommodations based on the twin-shared basis. A single supplement can serve but it will be added additional cost. Amazing Nepal Trek & Expedition will offer the room having attached washrooms and toilet facilities during the trek. The single room will be easily available in the Kathmandu and low elevated trekking zone but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

Meals

You will be given authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). The teahouse or lodge where we stay they serve us Breakfast and Dinner. All the facilities of the food according to your desire may not be available everywhere. You will be given all the meals during trekking and only breakfast in Kathmandu. The interesting thing about the meals is that you will be given welcome and farewell dinners for guests. During farewell dinner, we will organize some informal meeting with certificate distribution.

How can I approach this Trek?

Luxury Everest Panorama Trek is a moderate trek and ample for the passionate walkers who can walk for long hours with a light backpack every day. This trek will be the excellent way to enjoy in the Himalayas for those who have very limited time and a huge desire for pleasure in Nepal. The trekker having the average health condition but a positive attitude and strong determination can easily accomplish this trek. Generally, Walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes. If you want to enhance your strength and desire, exercising and jogging regularly for a few months prior to the trip is a good idea. However, past hiking experience may be better, but you have to possess your technical skill. Amazing Nepal Trek & Expedition suggest our guest have the contact with your doctor before embarking the trek if you have pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases.

Briefing of the Tour:

You will be briefed about the trek, you will be given information file, and importantly introduced with your guide.

Trekking Crews:

We will provide government registered, well-trained English Speaking guide, who holds enough knowledge about responsible tourism and eco-friendly tourism

We will also provide an assistant guide who is ready to help you every situation.

We will provide a porter is provided to every two of you, and he will be carrying not more than 25kg.

After the trek is over, you will be provided with ANTE adventure certificate.

Size of Group:

Trekking Group Size of our group can range from two people to ten people. In case you want to travel alone, do not hesitate to write to us. We will plan accordingly. In case, you more than ten people, please do let us know so that we can develop and improvise plans and itinerary.

Acclimatization:

Trekking to the Everest Region is as much difficult as it is technical. We give special priority to its technical sides as well. For this, we have designed an itinerary to allow you get acclimatize naturally. We know the particular location you need to stay for rest, and the particular distance you need to walk slowly and so on. In case you get high altitude sickness, we have crews who know how to deal it effectively and smartly.

Travel Insurance:

We would like to recommend you to get your trekking insured. Since you are trekking in probably one of the wildest and challenging routes, you need to be cautious of anything inevitable. You may need helicopter evacuation and get your trip canceled. You may get injured and get your baggage theft and so on.

Permits and fees:

The government local body charges some small amount of fee for every you make to the World Heritage sites, National Park, restricted areas along climbing. The price we charge includes all the fees.

Flight Delay in Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu
Twin Otter and Dornier is the primary mode of transport to and from the airstrip at Lukla. This service is fairly dependable. Sometimes, flights (to and from Lukla) may be canceled due to mountain weather conditions or technical problems. In such case, Amazing Nepal will charter a helicopter to ensure you are on schedule for your international flight. The helicopter can fly if the visibility is 1500m, while the twin otter can fly if the visibility is 5000m, as per Nepal’s Civil Aviation rules.

The cost of the helicopter is payable directly to our Kathmandu office in the event that this service is utilized. US cash, traveler’s cheques, or credit cards (Visa Cards, Master Cards only) are accepted. You will be given a receipt upon payment so that you may claim the amount from your travel insurance. The minimum cost will be US$500 and maximum US$3500 depending on the number of group members.

It is recommended that you should arrive in Kathmandu a day earlier before you start your trek. When you arrive a day earlier, you will have time to rest as well as time to buy trekking equipment. Similarly, it is best to have some extra days after you have finished your trek because your flight to Kathmandu/Lukla might be canceled due to bad weather. So all together it is recommended to have a few extra days beside the trip schedule so that you don’t miss your International Flight.

Except for your day pack, all luggage will be carried by porters. A porter is available for two people who will carry maximum up to 25 kg. So, You have to be careful while packing your Bag or luggage.
 
Moreover, There is an allowance of 15kg per person on the domestic flights. Additional personal items are not needed for the trekking portion of the trip which can be kept in the hotel’s storage room without extra cost.
