Trip Overview

Embark on the ultimate mountain biking expedition with Himalayan Single Track as we venture deep into one of Nepal’s most enigmatic and remote regions—Upper Mustang. This 14-day journey is a unique blend of high-altitude enduro riding, ancient Tibetan culture, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

Upper Mustang, once a forbidden kingdom, lies in the rain shadow of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Its windswept canyons, dramatic cliffs, medieval villages, and monastic caves create a surreal backdrop for a biking experience like no other.

Designed for experienced riders, this trip takes you through technical single tracks, rocky descents, and epic ridgelines—from the vibrant town of Jomsom to the sacred city of Lo Manthang, and down through rugged, lesser-traveled routes that demand both skill and spirit.

Along the way, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Loba people, explore centuries-old monasteries, and ride trails that few mountain bikers have ever laid tread on. Every day offers a new kind of thrill—be it a steep descent into a hidden canyon or a peaceful evening under the starry Himalayan sky.
