Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is a high-altitude glacial basin located north of Pokhara which offers you the magical views of Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna I(8091m), Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhare (6,993m). The Short ABC Trek is protected under the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and must get trekking permit from ACAP counter in Kathmandu or Pokhara to enter the area. However, it is opened throughout the year, the most suitable time for hiking is March to May and September to December. The maximum altitude you will ascend during trek is 4,130m at Base Camp.
